Who We Are
Grant Robinson
Grant Robinson is not your typical property development expert. With over 30 years of experience in construction, Grant is a practical problem solver whose grit and determination has brought to life projects others thought unachievable, consistently pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the industry.
Grant’s career started early. At 15 he was working alongside his father on property development projects and by 21, he had already built and owned his first home. This early immersion laid the groundwork for his deep, intuitive understanding of the construction industry.
-
While studying Construction Management at university, Grant launched his first business, specialising in the assembly of house frames. Now a qualified builder, he has managed the development of many duplexes, granny-flats, townhouses through to industrial factory units, showcasing his versatility and wide-ranging expertise across different building types and scales.
-
His international experience includes working with Multiplex in Dubai and Kuwait, where he led quality control for significant government office buildings, including projects for the Ministry of Oil and Kuwait Petroleum Company.
-
Beyond traditional property development, Grant has made significant contributions to engineering and sustainable innovation. As Head of Production at Janus Electric, he played a key role in converting diesel prime movers to full electric with swappable battery technology. In addition, Grant was instrumental in 5B’s global expansion of large-scale solar arrays into South America and India.
As a personal project, Grant is also the creator of Bhima the Dragon, a 40-foot bus that transforms into an inspiring performance space, showcasing his creative approach to engineering and design.
